Each weekday's lifesked has a special theme:

MONDAY is home and garden
TUESDAY is food, entertainment and travel
WEDNESDAY is health/fitness, entertainment and religion
THURSDAY is family and entertainment
FRIDAY is entertainment

Sports

Most slugs use a three-letter precede to indicate the sport, such as fbn for professional football and bkn for professional basketball.

Opinions and editorials

Editorials are slugged ED, followed by the topic (edobama, ediraq). Editorial cartoons are available daily, slugged EC and the topic.

Photos and graphics

Scripps Howard News Service operates on a 24-hour cycle. Photograph files (RGB JPEG) are posted throughout the cycle, with the majority of the day's photos made available around 2 p.m.Photos carry the same slugs as the stories, plus a code that indicates the date.
